At all times you must make sure that you make no guarantee of the student's results and exam results that you prepare them for.
Trading Standards

Because you are working with children, familiarise yourself and be aware of the Protection Of Children Act 1999 and Children Act 1989.Public Liability Insurance

If you are a private tutor you will be classed as self employed. With regards to this you must contact your local Inland Revenue Office for more information.
