Hi, I’m Ope, a passionate Chemistry tutor with over a decade of experience helping students exceed their academic expectations.

*Academic Qualifications*
I hold an MSc in Green Chemistry from the University of York, awarded with a bursary for academic excellence, and a First Class Honours BSc in Chemistry with Biochemistry from Queen Mary University of London. I also hold an enhanced DBS certificate.

Since 2010, I’ve specialised in online tutoring using interactive whiteboards and virtual classrooms that make science come alive. My sessions are fully personalised: I tailor each lesson to your pace, learning style, and areas of difficulty. Whether it’s the Arrhenius Equation or Organic mechanisms, I break down complex topics into simple, clear explanations that help students truly understand - not just memorise.

I focus heavily on exam preparation, using past papers, targeted practice, and interactive quizzes to build confidence and familiarity with the specific exam board's assessment format. My goal is to make chemistry feel not just manageable but enjoyable, especially under exam pressure.
