Home teaching can help ease the burden which may arise if students find specific topics for courses at GCSE and A-Level difficult. The main areas covered for both courses concentrate on Human and Physical Geography. The human aspect is science orientated and includes such topics as the causes and effects of plate tectonics, volcanoes, earthquakes as well as meterology. Human Geography also has an element of slight overlap with Environmental Science and Ecology as Ecosystems are part of the specification and the environment is studied in detail. The physical topics include the effects that agriculture and industry have on the change and distribution of populations.
