Primary KS1 and KS2 English, like Maths and Science, is a compulsory national curriculum based subject and is also referred to has Literacy. Children are introduced to writing, reading and spelling when they start school. KS3 English is the next stage up and pupils of ages 11-14 are taught this. This broadens the fundamentals taught at earlier years.

Personal teaching is found to improve grades for KS4 / GCSE English or A-Level English, Scottish Standard Grade and Higher Grade English. Tutees can find some topics of English courses at GCSE and A-Level difficult. For example, poetry, literature, comprehension or comparing texts. We can make searching for a tutor easier as we have many online English tutors who are able to offer tuition over the internet.

Our private teachers can coach college students, as well as learners in adult education, for a whole range of subjects related to English. These include Film Studies, Theatre Studies and English Literature. If you need practice for EFL, ESOL, TEFL or IELTS tests we can also help you. Private English classes are a way of successfully boosting an individual's level of education for any topic. Local English teachers can help a student with degree English revision techniques for a wide range of specialities such as Communications Studies, Grammar, Public Speaking, Sign Language or editing and proofreading.

University, postgraduate / MSc / PhD students can also find private English teachers to improve their knowledge of Creative Writing and Journalism.
